Toasted Chai Latte
Suspend yourself between seasons with my classic chai recipe.
Ingredients
For the Garnish
Marshmallow
Graham cracker
Roughly 1 gram of dark chocolate
For the Drink
1 part chai concentrate (Favorite: Trader Joe's Spiced Chai Black Tea Concentrated)
2 parts milk (I use nonfat, but 2% or oat milk works great)
Half tablespoon Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup
Half Tablespoon Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup
How to Make It
Skewer marshmallow and toast over flame. Set to the side. (ex: stove, blow torch, outdoor fire pit)
Melt chocolate, and cover rim and part of the side of the glass.
Crush a single graham cracker, pour onto small plate, then dip to cover the chocolate on the glass with the crumbs.
Pour your drink ingredients over ice into the glass and stir with spoon.
Top glass with your marshmallow and enjoy!
P.S. Add 2 oz. of coffee liqueur to make this a dirty chai
