The Glorious Morning

“Oh look, another glorious morning. Makes me sick,” – Winifred Sanderson

In celebration of the long-awaited sequel to cult classic Hocus Pocus, I have created a deadly drink that’ll be sure to cure the most wicked of hangovers. The Glorious Morning honors the Sanderson Sisters as they reunite for one final All Hallows Eve. It’s my terrifying take on a Bellini, and I’m sure you’re going to loathe it… Make sure to tag us at #OvenBakedbyBianca to be featured on our socials. I would love to see what you come up with as we head into the Halloween season.

Ingredients

Makes two servings

8 oz. of Prosecco

0.5 oz. of Cointreau

Palmful of mint leaves… leave two sprigs for the garnish

Handful of blackberries… leave at least four berries for the garnish

Two drops of orange bitters.

How to Make It

In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries, mint leaves, and Cointreau.

Strain mixture over a Champagne flute, then top with Prosecco.

Add two drops or dashes of orange bitters.

Skewer two blackberries on a toothpick, sandwiching your sprig of mint leaves between the berries.

Suspend skewer over glass.

Cheers!
